Chris & Katie's Engagement Pictures {Finally}

Just popping in to share some of the engagement pics that dad and I took for Chris and Katie.

{note}
some of these are unedited and/or goofs.

After squeezing my eye shut for long periods
of time it begins to twitch, so that's what they are
laughing. Just in case your wondering...

Sweet 15

"Is it going to hurt?" I asked, as I sat in the chair with my feet dangling off the ground. "Not too bad." my brother's fiance told me. Two ladies came over and began to prepare the guns.

I shifted nervously  in my chair.

I watched as they placed the earrings of my choice into the guns.

I closed my eyes as the centered the guns over the marked places on my ears.

"Just so you know," I  said, "I feel like I'm gonna pass out."  "Don't worry, it won't hurt."

                           Ch-Cluck

I waited for the excruciating pain to come.

I opened one eye. "That's it?" "Uh-huh" they answered

Then it happened. the room started to spin.  I leaned my head back onto the wall, and held onto dad's arm, hoping this would go away. Everything kept spinning.  I could hear people talking, but things sounded so muffled.

I took a drink of KT"s soda water.

The room kept spinning.

I opened both eyes and everything was blurry.

"Does this always happen?" I asked, becoming a little bit concerned."Oh,sometimes"

Finally the dizziness stopped, I could hear fine,  the blurriness cleared up, and I was the owner of a shiny pair of earrings.

                                                            .The End.

Noah is sixteen days old today. Wow... where does time go?

He is now 7lbs. 2oz.!  Yep, he's a big guy.

Noah Walker

I am pleased to announce that baby Noah Walker has come into this world!!!!
He weighs a 'whopping' 4lbs. 13oz., and is 18in. long.

He actually wasn't due until Oct.31, but when mom went to her doctors appointment they
realized his heart rate was dropping. They decided the safest thing to do was to do
a C-Section.
When the doctors brought him out they found that the umbilical cord
was wrapped around his neck four times, and it had a knot in it.
Mom's original appointment wasn't until Friday, but dad wasn't going to be able to come, and mom really wanted him to be there. So she rescheduled it for Wednesday.
If she hadn't, little Noah wouldn't have made it.
The Lord definitely did a miracle!

Both mom and baby are doing well, but we aren't sure when
                                               they will be coming home.
Prayers for a quick recovery for both of them would be greatly appreciated!!

Lo, children are a heritage of the Lord,
and the fruit of the womb is His reward.

      .Driving his siblings crazy

.Giving kisses on the lips

.Shooting guns

.making funny faces

.and being cute

                                              I love the little guy...

Remembering September 11th.

I was four years old when the planes crashed into the World Trade Center, and the Pentagon, and to be completely honest with you, I don't remember any of it.

In fact, I didn't completely understand what happened until recently.

Today, 2,996 people where killed.

Take time to remember them and honor those who lost their lives as a result.
