A Trip To The Mall

Today Mom, Jess, Carver, Connor, Audrey, and I decided to take a trip to Salem, and spend some of Connor's birthday money. We went to 'Toys R Us' first, where we went through almost every aisle only to come out with a football. (did I mention Connor loves balls?)

We then went out lunch, which was a very fine and fancy affair, at Wendy's, and next to the Mall.

Going to the mall is, (to me at least), a novelty. That's where you go to get a coffee and just meander, since most of the clothing there is priced way more than what I could afford. Oh, and lets not forget the free perfume samples. Do people really pay $150 for a bottle of perfume? Mom and I recently discovered 'Flower Bomb', which is the best smelling perfume I have ever smelled. Almost as good as vanilla.

We looked at Robeez shoes for Audrey because supposedly they fit all feet, but I guess her feet are just to blocky. :(

After wandering to our hearts content, we arrived back at our van (which thankfully had not yet been towed  away), and loaded up to go home.

Bridge Over Troubled Waters

When I was little, I dreamed of becoming a famous figure skater. Needless to say, I don't think that is going to happen, seeing as I can hardly skate forwards. But I still love watching others skate, so I thought I'd post one of my favorite videos on here.

Lately...

We started re-doing our bedroom, so I'll keep y'all posted on that. We are painting it WHITE! HALLELUJAH! Today dad, along with Jake and Jess, ripped out the carpet, and has gone to town to buy sub-flooring.  One of the main goals for this project is to make it to where we have more closet space, and since we have four girls in one room with only two closets, we kind of need the space.

I was asked to make cupcakes for a friends baby shower so we worked on that on Friday. Actually, I more like helped make them. (Mom frosted the yellow and lemon cupcakes for me.)

Connor's birthday was a few days ago, and he absolutely loves balls so mom and dad got him a pack of one hundred plastic balls which are great for throwing at people (don't ask me how I know). Somehow we are now down to only eighty two balls. Where on earth they go, I shall never know! I love how he unwraps gifts. He very methodically tears one little piece of paper of and hands it to whoever is closest to him (so he doesn't make a mess), then he tears another little piece etc, etc, etc.

What a goofy little kid....

Change?

Lately I've been looking for a different blog background because my old one just didn't look like ME.
So I'm trying out different ones, and would really like your opinion. To quote from 'Shop Around the Corner',

"I just want you honest opinion!"

Feel free to leave a comment saying whether or not you like this new background or if you like the old one better!
